Q
- I am very hesitant about shipping a puppy
with the Airlines because of
all the horror stories. What is your
experience?
The BIGBULLDOG: Out of all of the vehicles
that frequent our freeways daily once in
awhile you see or hear of an accident. It’s
just the law of averages.
I have had nothing
but great experiences with the airlines.
In fact I can say that I have never had
a single problem other than a delay here
and there that arose
from shipping a dog. These horror stories
that you refer to are few and far between
when you consider the millions of animals
that are shipped each year. You never hear
about the millions, only the few.
The airlines
have strict policies that govern the shipping
of animals and hefty fines, upwards of $10,000
can be imposed for violations. Each animal
shipped must have a signed documented Veterinary
Certificate stating that the animal is in
good health and must have a certificate of
acclamation stating the temperatures at which
the animal can be exposed to.
I often tell
customers this; I love these little guys
more than you at this point. Therefore if
I thought it was dangerous to ship Bully
via the airlines, then I would make you come
to pick him up. So to answer your question,
I have full faith in the airlines to deliver
Bully to you in “Good Barking Order.”
